Hired Help, Hidden Agendas: Your Maid Candy Shorts Guide

Why maid Candy Shorts work as short dramas

Domestic settings are perfect for short drama: closed doors, a schedule that leaves two people alone and a secret that is easy to keep until it isn't. This is the smallest category on Candy's list, but each of its three series takes a different angle.

All characters are adults, and the stories are fictional and playful rather than graphic.

The setups mix humor and heat. One is a classic household fantasy, one adds a robot and one stays in a hotel, so it is easy to match the mood you want, whether cheeky, futuristic or quietly knowing. It is also a handy way to sample the platform in a single evening.

The three maid series

• The Maid My Wife Hired: his wife hires a maid and leaves for work, and from nine to eight it is just the two of them in the house.
• Y.U.N.A: Yuna, a robotic maid, arrives to help and ends up setting a marriage on fire, in the best way.
• Room Service: five years married, fifth year at the same hotel, his wife takes twenty-minute showers, and room service knows.

If marriage tension is your thing, the Wife category lists 20 series, including The Maid My Wife Hired.
